I have cleared iitjee 2011.my rank is 1451.what should we focus on?college or branch?

i have cleared jee 2011.my rank is 1451.We are perplexed whether i should opt for electricals at roorkee or electricals and instrumentation at kharagpur.all i want is three or four choices where there is a guaranteed 100 percent placement in a good company with a decent initiating package.kindly suggest me what good options i have at this rank.i am not interested in doing management in future and my area of interest is electrical.
