Does the Daisy Powerline model 93 co2 bb gun pistol NOT shoot POINTED FIELD BBs? They keep jamming!!?

I wanted to use my BB gun with pointed feild pellets, ONLY because we have a fisher cat (Fisher) that comes around at night while me and my dogs are outside and I want to be able to scare him away IF I have to. BUT I bought the pointed bbs and they kept jamming?! I made sure the pointed end would be leaving the muzzle the right way, so they went in the clip the right way. They get stuck right after leaving the clip and jam right before entering the chamber of the gun. It's almost like the bell end of the pointed pellet is too big to fit through the chamber? even though it's the right caliber .117 and mm 4.5. IS this type of BB gun supposed to shoot these pointed pellets? the pointed pellets were Crosman lead pointed field pellets.
