I am preparing for IITJEE.... if i get a chance to become vice head boy ofskul dis yr,shud i go for it?

Hello all.. i am in class 11.. this year i there is a good probability of me getting the chance to become my school's vice headboy.. and then headboy next year.. but i am also preparing for IIT JEE... shud i go for it????? Please reply... :\
