I did not appear in iit-jee 2011 i thought that i wasn't ready for it...and i belive that i can make it this y?

i did not appear in iit-jee 2011 i thought that i wasn't ready for it...and i belive that i can make it this year... my question is that will i be eligible to apply jee as i didnot appear this year?? :( :(
