Arts or engineering plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz its my life?

im a cbse comp sci student with 84%marks in board...the proble is i didnt clear aieee nd jee...now according to my marks i'll get engg in not so branded colleges like door 2 or door three colleges ...my sister says that my future would not be great in such colleges...should i wait nd prepare a year for JEE or i should go for some arts coures.....but my parents dont want me to choose arts im really confused nd depressed pls help?
